App crash

App crashes when sync with dropbox

Nice app

Bug: after deleting task via CLI on mac, task in app also disappears except the side arrow pointing on removed task properties. Little bit annoying.

Todo.txt on the go

Streamlined. Glad to have it.

Simplicity is functionality

Found this app through lifehacker and have not been disappointed since. Ive tried/use most of the popular ToDo apps and as much a I was drawn to the plethora of features, it ends up being the features that make it difficult to use after the app honeymoon period. This apps streamlined operation makes it fantastic to use on an everyday basis. I can get get my thought down quickly and efficiently. Only wish list item would be to have the "context" and "project" menus, that are present upon task entry, appear on the main task list view for quick filtering.

Awesome! Very useful

Just have to say this is an awesome app. Everything works great as stated. The dev has updated the requested features such as sorting based on priority text etc also a search function has bees included. But the best feature is the seemless Dropbox integration. Gotta love being able to open the txt file editing and having it sync back to app flawlessly. Very nice. Oh btw. The archive feature has been added as well. When you complete a task it is added to another txt file in dropbox called done.txt Very nice! Thank you!

Lacking ability to filter on context and project!

Love the ability to review my todos on the go but really needs a feature to filter on context and project.

Love it

Fits perfectly into my workflow.

Worst. Thing. Ever.

Installing this app deleted my existing todo.txt file. Guess I didnt need to do that stuff after all...

Todo.txt

This is the worst app ever. Its always crashing and deleting notes. It does not back up all of your todo list to dropbox. Dont buy this app.

Fluid UI & Full Featured

Shame you still cant sort your todo notes by project name.

Simple and open

I use Dropbox and WriteRoom for everything and this fits in those really well. If Im compiling thoughts or lists in WriteRoom and dont want to switch apps, I can add or modify something in the todo.txt file easiern a tweet and it corresponds beautifully when checking the todo.txt app later. Great for easing into GTD as well. This app is a great solution, I dont feel like my priorities are siloed in a little niche on my phone. Open can be elegant.

Great todo list app

Goes great with my cli based life. Ive never had the sync problems others have reported (I suspect they dont understand how it works). Use this!

Fix for dropbox sync

To all you who are having issues with the Dropbox newer file dialogue, make absolutely sure that your File Location in settings matches the exact path of your todo.txt location in dropbox INCLUDING THE CASE SENSITIVITY. I had the same issue until I fixed this. Overall good app - does what it says and augments my cmd line todo-ing just fine. Wish it had more sorting options is all.

Works well!

I have not experienced any of the stability problems other reviewers have spoken about (I have an iPad 3 running iOS 6). For me this is nearly the perfect solution. One todo list, light and easy to use on all of my devices. The only thing that prevents me from giving this app 5 stars is the lack of a "sort by project" feature. I also have my todo.txt display on my Mac desktop using geektool.

Crashes seconds after launch...

Tries to update just after opening and crashes. Tried quitting and restarting, power-cycling iPhone to no avail. Help, cant live without it!! Giving five stars because app is usually great (except for latest update).

Current Version is unusable.

I love Todo.txt for the powerful simplicity, but the current version of the app is unusable. It seems to have an automatic scrolling issue that makes it hard to see current tasks, and almost impossible to make or edit them.

Cant see what you are typing

Cant read what you are typing when creating a new todo, otherwise fantastic concept.

Huge version regression

Other reviewers say the same thing: - crashing on launch (I cant get in anymore) - cannot see the text of new to-dos (the top several lines are under the top toolbar and invisible to the user, although you are actually typing) Im a big believer in a simple to-do list with basic filtering and no cruft, so I loved this app. Until its fixed I would hold off on a purchase and look at other apps.

Gina, help!

Gina.... Please help this app !!!!! Its greatly interfering with my work flow, please!

The best

Im a scientist by trade, and, though Ive bought and tried a dozen others, I keep coming back to this one. Seamlessly works across OSs, trivial to have in a backup system, clear and concise. Only thing I miss would be alarms tagged to items. Not a big deal, but could be useful. Anyway, if you live in a tech field, get this one.
